This system was taken from a university lab during a clearout. The lab reported the below:
The PC, Mouse and monitor all work fine.
Unfortunately the spectrophotometer fails to initialise. The intialising steps when turning on the photometer ( either turned on alone or with the PC) work until the optimization of the monochromator. Then the Error E3028 occurs. The Error E3027 (something in the way of the beam) occurs too. We checked the specimen-chamber but it is empty and we can find nothing which could be in the way of the beam. The lights turn on fine.
