Description
The freezer door is locked and we do not have the key. It is a basic key and barrel lock so could be replaced by someone confident to change it. However it does mean that currently the fridge/freezer cannot be opened.
We tested the fridge and the freezer compartment.
The fridge cools to 5°C
The freezer cools to -10°C
We tested the temps with an external digital thermometer, as the freezer is locked we squeeze the thermometer probe through the rubber door seal to get a temp reading. This has not damaged or effected the seal.
The red digital readout on the fridge display is a setting number and not a temperature readout. So we tested on a cooling setting 2 which gave us the above results. There are higher settings but the temps did not cool any further.
