Description
This Boekel Illumina Hybridisation Oven/Incubator Model 5420 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit is in good cosmetic condition but has some marks from use. There is a rubber mat with it for the shaker tray.
The unit powers up and it spun well at 5 (Min), 30 and 60 (Max) RPM.
It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
When tested to get to 37˚C it had to be set to 35.7˚C
When tested to 37˚C it was actually 39.5˚C on the thermometer.
When tested to 100 degrees (Max) it only displayed 99˚C but was recorded at 105.8˚C on the thermometer.
