Description
This Leica Leitz DMRB Trinocular Fluorescence Microscope was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit had a fluorescent filter cube unit that would rotate. Apparently it is supposed to click into place but continually spins and Leica's cost for a replacement unit was extensive. Therefore the lab removed some components from the scope and this is mainly a body left. They reported it was a fantastic microscope prior to this.
The unit powers on but is pretty well used. It is still in reasonable condition though. Some parts appear to be possibly broken.
The front panel is barely hanging on for example. A module on the right-hand side is loose and doesn't seem to be connected to anything. The power lights are showing but there are no eyepieces or objectives included so we were unable to test the functionality of the unit.
It will probably need some refurbishment to get it back into a working state.
