This BioQuell Microflow Peroxide Cabinet Class 2 Microbiological Safety Cabinet was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The university reported:

"I am getting in touch with you as we have a microbial safety cabinet with a small crack window in perfect shape, which we would like to put on the green scheme.

It is a Microflow, recirculating, model is ABS1200-UK/F. The serial number is 20030921227. It is on a bench and the dimensions are external 1390w x 748 d x 1380 h.|

The unit powers on, and the lights and fans seem to be working as they should.

Condition wise, it is quite heavily used and the window has a large crack through it. As far as we can reasonably tell, the crack does not currently affecting the cabinet's functionality but we do not know if a crack will be a failure point on a certification / inspection and so it must be inspected by an appropriate engineer for performance prior to use. It may be that the window must be replaced prior to use, we are not sure.

A company who specialise in class 2 cabinet servicing would be able to provide more details - we do use a company for cabinet servicing so we can investigate this further if required.

Internal dimensions are: 112cm L x 40cm W x 65cm H.
