Description
This Leica EM UC6 Ultramicrotome with KMR3 Glass Knife Cutter was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
Included in the listing is
1 x Leica EM UC6 Ultramicrotome with Controller
The controller powered up with no issues and is calibrated ready for use. The touchscreen works perfectly. The light on the microtome came on when ready.
The unit was not tested further. It is in excellent cosmetic condition.
It comes with an instruction manual and also a service record from Leica. Also with this item are two storage boxes with various parts and accessories for the microtome.
1 x The Leica EM KMR3 Cutter
This is also in very good cosmetic condition but has not been tested.
1 x Table/Workbench 115x67x75cm, that the units are mounted on to.
It is a genuine Leica unit with adjustable elbow support pads. There is a shelf below 104x24 which is 37 cm from the floor. This bench is in excellent condition.
1 x Drawer Unit
It is a genuine Leica unit constructed of covered strong MDF. The size is 44x66x73 and houses five steel drawers. The drawer sizes are three at 33x49x11, one at 33x49x17, and one at 33x49x6 with a plastic tray for paper clips e.t.c. The drawers are lockable and a key is present. This is in very good condition.
There is also a CD ROM of software as well as covers for all three units.
We have not tested the system at our site, but it was in full working order when removed from the lab. We can discuss options for servicing, and also the unit comes with a 45 day return to base warranty - however if you are based outside of the UK please enquire about this first.
