Description
This Bibby Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer C/N: CB162 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer. The stirring function does not work, but the hotplate seems to be working fine.
When tested it had to be set to 50 degrees to successfully hold at 37 degrees.
When tested to 100 degrees it held at 83 degrees.
When tested to 200 degrees it held at 188 degrees.
When tested to 300 degrees it held at 300 degrees.
When tested to 400 degrees it held at 401 degrees.
The plate area is 16cm L x 16cm W.
It is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has some flaking paint.
