International Metrology Systems MS Impact Coordinate Measuring Machine

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

We were unable to test it at our facility but the lab confirmed that it was working prior to removal.

It has a Renishaw Probe Head Controller PHC10-2 and Virtual-DMIS Version 3.2 and Version 4.0 software discs which run it.

This Chroma 8 Channel Battery Cell Programmable Charge/Discharge Tester Model 17208M is being sold on behalf of a client. It is surplus to requirements. It is not currently at our site, but viewings can be arranged.

The unit is in good cosmetic condition and has been stored in the original box for the last year. It was working before it was put into storage.

Some info on the unit;

Chroma’s 17208M is a standalone 8 channel version of their 17011 series high precision charge/discharge tester specifically designed for Lithium-ion batteries, electrical double layer capacitors (EDLC), and lithium-ion capacitors (LIC).

The 17208M comes as a fully integrated system which includes allowing full configuration with reporting and statistics capability.

The new Chroma 17208M-6-30 is a high accuracy (±0.02% of F.S.) programmable charge and discharge tester (6V/30A 8 channels) built with 4 current ranges. It is the best test solution for energy storage products such as battery cells, super capacitors, and lithium ion capacitors.

Woods 63KO Variable Pitch Aeronautical Engineering Wind Testing Tunnel

This was removed from a university engineering department where it was surplus to requirements.

The tunnel was dismantled when we collected so no testing was carried out, but we were told that it was still in operational condition prior to dismantling.

It is in five sections:

Section 1- Main Power/ Fan Unit.-405 kg. 120 cm x 120 cm x 150 cm. Outlet flanges 63 cm inside diameter. 3 phase 5 pin 415V motor.

Section 2- Silencer Unit- 160 kg. 127 cm x 91 cm x 131 cm. Flanges are 79 cm and 63 cm inside diameters.

Section 3- Air Intake Funnel- 155 kg. 170 cm x 121 cm x 145 cm .Apertures are 41cm x 41 cm and 80 cm x 80 cm.

Section 4- Large Tunnel Section-155 kg. 118 cm x 73 cm x 120 cm. Apertures are 41 cm x 41 cm and 64 cm diameter internal.

Section 5- Work Access Unit-85 kg. 55 cm x 55 cm x 160 cm. This has 8 openings 30 cm x 60 cm. It comes with a variety of doors, 8 in total.

Durham Magneto Optics Ltd MicroWriter ML Photolithography Controller

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

Everything powers up but has not been tested further.

The PC contains quite a lot of software.

The programs that are relevant to the system are:

MicroWriter ML Version 2.11.11.0.

Thorlabs apt configuration utility v2.2.5389 14611.

MicroWriter ML will not start up properly as the hardware is not connected. This is not a fault, we just don't have the rest of the system

The Newport Motion Controller/Driver Model XPS control unit is for a table that the microwriter would sit on.

This unit came from an engineering university. It was used to develop and test for the motor industry. We were assured it was in good working order.

The item is in very good cosmetic condition. The lab said the machine is old technology but they believe it has never been used, having been purchased for an abandoned project some time ago.

It can be used for small-scale milling work, in particular, milling printed circuit board designs onto copper-clad FR4 board. It comes complete with a wheeled enclosure made from Aluminium T-slot/acrylic.
