Description
This unit was purchased by a university security services department for work conducting screening of suspicious packages to a notable political alumni.
The unit itself was never actually used, as the alumni never received any packages, and so the unit remained unused.
It is a class-1 biological hood, but designed as a hybrid, with a glove enclosure that was supposedly suitable for class 3 work (but it doesn't say this anywhere on the unit so we are not sure if its certified to class 3).
Unfortunately, the unit was stored in an outbuilding for many years and has began to rust as can be seen in the photos.
We have not tested the unit, but presume it is still in working order, but is a little rusted now.
Unit comes with the extractor fan / ducting and the stand.
