Elliot Progress No. 2GS Pedestal Floor Standing Pillar Drill Press

This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirements.

The previous owner reported that the drill was functional when last used a few years ago.

During testing, the following was observed:-

Powered on and ran at two configured speeds smoothly, with no undue noises or vibrations.

Press operated smoothly with the control lever.

Emergency stop button and safety cut-off for the top belt cover tested as working.

Workpiece platform and drill head height adjustable on the centre column.

• Good cosmetic condition
• Passed a visual PAT test on 29.11.24

This item was removed from a university workshop where it was surplus to requirements.

The drill is in reasonably good cosmetic condition.

A plug was fitted temporarily for testing purposes but has since been removed. It powers on and appears to function as intended during testing.

It is 16A 3-phase 4-pin
