The shaker operates up to a maximum speed of 400 rpm but exhibited instability at this speed. It was tested at 300 rpm without the tray and ran smoothly.

It is in good cosmetic condition and has been tested in-house using a JA-25.50 rotor (not included).

The unit is in good working order, though it does not come with a rotor.

Perkin Elmer JANUS G3 Automated Workstation

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The JANUS G3 system has been set up and tested using various random movement functions.

The robot appears to function as expected. It includes a mini Trigkey PC running Windows 10, with Perkin Elmer Winprep version 5.7.149 installed.

The system comes complete with a monitor, wireless keyboard, and mouse. Also included is the original Janus G3 Quick Start Guide and a selection of compatible pipette tips.

It powers up when switched on and is in good used cosmetic condition. Further testing has not been conducted, but we were informed they were in working condition prior to removal.

Includes a deck plate for 24 microplates. WinPrep software is available for setup with a PC upon customer request.
