This system is being offered for sale on behalf of a client due to being surplus to ongoing requirements at The National Robotarium, Edinburgh.

The unit is a 1000L controlled temperature and humidity test chamber with a stated operating temperature range of -40°C to +200°C. Chambers of this type are used for environmental simulation, reliability testing, thermal cycling, humidity conditioning and accelerated product evaluation across laboratory, electronics, manufacturing and research environments.

According to the client, the chamber is in very good used condition and close to new in appearance and working order. It was rarely used between 2022 and 2026, with fewer than 30 recorded uses, and no issues or faults logged. The client has advised that the chamber has not been recalibrated since original purchase, however no loss of calibration has been identified. Routine internal maintenance, including replacement of water, cleaning of the water container and condenser cleaning, has been carried out in line with the user manual. No external maintenance record is available.

SDL Atlas Rotawash Laboratory Textile Washing Machine – Simulated Wash Tester System

It is approximately 2 years old, hardly used, and remains in excellent cosmetic condition. The unit has seen limited operation during a single project. No routine service history is recorded; however, the motor (the only mechanical component) was repaired and replaced approximately 18 months ago.

The Rotawash is a laboratory-scale washing machine designed to simulate real textile laundering conditions under controlled, repeatable parameters. It includes onboard software functioning as the machine interface, pre-loaded with standard ASTM and ISO wash programmes as well as customisable temperature and timing settings.

The sale includes 8 × 1200mL wash containers with seals and 100 stainless steel agitation balls. Software is installed directly on the machine and does not require updating. No additional accessories are included beyond those listed.

The UV exposure system illuminates when the 2105C2 illumination controller is activated and the Exposure command is triggered on the OAI 150.

Both the illumination controller and the exposure timer show functional power indicators. A 5-second test exposure was successfully carried out using the OAI 150.

The UV exposure system is fitted with an exhaust duct and anode adapter cable, and includes a shutter cable with sensor and auxiliary fittings. No further testing has been performed.
