The unit powers up and has passed all hardware testes. The lamp is showing 2029 hours. It is communicating with the Windows 7 PC which has ABI Life v2.3 installed.

This Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System with PC & Software was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and has been connected to the PC. It has been inspected by a service engineer who has re-certified it.

The PC is a Dell Optiplex PC with a monitor, keyboard & Mouse with Life Version 2.3 7500 software installed on it. The machine also has a fresh install of Windows 7.

The 7500 has passed the following function tests:

The main unit is in reasonable used cosmetic condition but it does have some scrapes, scratches and marks from use.

The unit powers up and both Green LED's light. You can also feel the well block heating up. The well block is 96 hole.

The PC has has a new HDD fitted and is running a fresh install of Windows 7. Also installed is a copy of Stratagene MxPro - Mx3005P v4.10 build 389. The software will control the Mx3005P unit. We have run a basic heat cycle with it and varified that the lamp will turn on & off. It has not been tested any further.

The PC comes with a brand new sealed keyboard & mouse and a used iiyama monitor is also included.

The system should include everything required to operate.

This Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real Time PCR System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The system is in good used cosmetic condition. The lab confirmed it was in working order prior to removal.

We have powered the unit up and have been able to connect the unit to the PC but the software shows the serial number is invalid. It requires the 9 digit serial number from the rear of the main unit but it will only allow you to enter 6 digits!

We have spoken to Thermo who owns Applied Bioscience and they contacted a service engineer for us. The engineer said the issue can only be fixed with the engineer service tools, which could be done on-site post-purchase of this system.

Fluidigm Biomark HD Genetic Analyser & IFC Controller HX with Accessories

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The units are all in good cosmetic condition with marks from use. Everything powers up. Starting up various programs did trigger the main unit to open its side door ready for a sample so it does appear that the PC and main unit are communicating. We have not run samples on the instrument but all tests and software appear to be running as expected.
