The system has been professionally serviced and is in full working order. The PC does continually come up with a server busy message, and we have been unable to resolve that, but there is a workaround.

The system is fitted with a 400mw laser.

The instrument is functioning fine and can run samples smoothly.

Failed PMT Dark Count (Photon Counting) - Failed due to high thermal electron current in the PMT due to high voltage in this mode. This will not affect the functionality of the instrument.

Passed PMT Dark (Charge Integration) and LED Control.

Server Busy message - This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose ‘Switch to’ to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

It is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

BMG POLARstar / FLUOstar Galaxy Microplate Reader with PC & Software Lab

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in good used cosmetic condition. It has been set up with a Dell PC system operating on Windows XP, and connects smoothly to the BMG Galaxy 4.10-0 software. Functional tests included the operation of the microplate tray and setting the temperature to 37ºC. Based on these checks, the system appears to be fully operational.

Dell Optiplex 780 PC complete with keyboard, monitor, and mouse, running Windows XP and BMG Galaxy 4.10-0 software

Note:

All elements of the system power up but the system is reporting a lamp failure in its maintainece checks. We replaced it with a different lamp, but the error still shows. The fan uses the same voltage as the lamp and is also not working, so there is an electrical fault at play here. The microplate incubator and tray eject functions are working.

It is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use.
