Beckman Coulter Biomek FX Robotic Automated Liquid Handling System

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit has been tested and is in good working order. The tiploader has been tested with a jun-air compressor which is not included in the sale.

The system includes a Dell Optiplex 380 running Windows XP. It has various software installed including Beckman Coulter Biomek 3.3 (Build 14)

This allows control of the Biomek FX robot. The other PC contains no Biomek software. The SATA HDD contains an old version of the Biomek software running on Windows NT.

This Beckman Coulter Biomek 4000 Liquid Handler Laboratory Automation Workstation is being sold on behalf of a university. It is surplus to requirements.

The system is in full working order. It was purchased by the university in 2014 as part of a special package for £45k+VAT. We have the original PO documentation details all parts etc.

The system is still at the universities site, but we are able to arrange delivery including international delivery. If you require anything from the instrument such as sample runs etc please let us know.

The unit powers up and the system and the PC communicate. We were able to get the tool holder to unlock and lock. It is showing a temperature unit module 1 issue.

This Beckman Coulter Biomek NXp Laboratory Automation Workstation was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit appears to pretty much fully work. We have homed the axis and run a basic set of commands with it. We have a video of this working.

The Tiploader appears to be faulty as it is not accepting commands from the PC. We have verified that the cable/air and PC are communicating with the Tiploader, by connecting a known working unit to the PC. The known working unit operated fine which proved the included Tiploader to be faulty.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and goes through all start-up sequences. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks.

It is fitted with a pipette head with 96 tips at 300µl.

This Eppendorf EpMotion 5075 LH Automated Liquid Handling System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in good used cosmetic condition but it does have various marks and signs of general use.

The system consists of:

1 x Eppendorf epMotion 5075 Liquid Handler.

Fitted with a Siemens SIMATIC PC running Eppendorf epBlue 10.04.0020 Software. It also comes with a Dell monitor, Microsoft keyboard and Siemens mouse.

We have run a basic test program on the robot and it does run.
