This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up but we were unable to test it further without a PC and software. The lab informed us when it was last used a few years ago, it was still working.
The unit is in overall good cosmetic condition with marks from use. There is a crack in the front and the right-hand cover and the left-hand door doesn't close fully.

The unit powers up but as there were no software discs or testing solutions with it we had our service engineer observe the system initialising without the cover on. They reported that it initialised as it should.
It is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

Millipore Guava EasyCyte 8HT Flow Cytometer Lab Spares/Repairs

This Millipore Guava EasyCyte 8HT Flow Cytometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The system powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.
The unit has been tested with samples but was showing readings of 200-300 when it should be showing readings of around 50000. We were unable to diagnose the exact fault.
The unit has a Dell Optiplex 7010 PC paired with it. The PC includes a keyboard, mouse, monitor, USB and VGA Cable. It has had a brand new copy of 32bit Windows 7 installed.
Guavasoft 3.1 has also been installed, which includes:
ViaCount.
InCyte (This requires an unlock code from Millipore to run).
easyCheck.
Guava Clean 3.1.
We have been able to open and close the sample tray. This proves that the system is fully connected.
It is sold for spares/repairs.

Beckman Coulter Cytomics FC 500 Cell Sorter System with Software & PC Lab

This Beckman Coulter Cytomics FC 500 Cell Sorter System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
We had a qualified service technician test this system. It powers on as normal and communicates with the PC using CXP Cytometer software. The front lid mechanism is loose which makes it difficult to lift it up and the transparent screen isn't on correctly. They required more testing equipment to test it further.

BD Biosciences FACSCalibur Cell Sorter System & Software Lab

This BD Biosciences FACSCalibur was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The lab informed us that the system was in working order prior to being put into storage.
The units are all in reasonably good used cosmetic condition. Most components have various marks from use and writing on them.
The FACSCalibur powers up fine and appears to communicate with the Mac. We couldn't actually get it to run anything as it kept showing the following.
'The cytometer status is not 'ready' because the sheath fluid container is empty'. We think this is likely due to there being no reagents hooked up.
The system consists of:
1 x BD FACSCalibur Flow Cytometer (August 2005).
1 x BD FACSCalibur Training Manual.
1 x Transformer,
1 x Mac G5 1.8ghz PPC OSX 10.3.6.
With the following software installed:
BD CellQuest Pro 5.2.
FACSComp 5.2.
MultiSET 2.2.
Also includes mac keyboard, dell mouse and NEC monitor.
Cables to connect everything up.
The Flow Cytometer appears to have been service last 15/03/17.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. Everything powers up but we could not get the system to communicate with the PC. It was not tested further.
It is in reasonable cosmetic condition with marks from use. Some parts of the system have quite a bit of rust.

Becton Dickinson BD FACSCalibur Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorter Lab

This Becton Dickinson BD FACSCalibur Clinical Cell Analyser was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The lab reported:
"It has been sitting unused for a couple of years now and we are looking to get rid of it. As far as I know last time it was used it worked but as I say it has not been used for a while. There is a manual for it but the computer and software for it I do not have."
The unit powered on with the included transformer with no issues. The unit and went through set up. It was not tested further. There is no software included.
The unit is in good cosmetic condition with very few marks. The gas struts for the lid no longer support the lid when open so will need replacing.
A manual is supplied with the unit.

The PC with the system cannot run the software. The software is included but will require a Beckman OEM PC system to run.
The unit has the following lasers installed:

1 X 561NM - 202MW.
1 x 532NM - 150MW.
1 x 488NM - 200MW.
1 X 405NM - 55MW.
The writing is quite faint on the MW output, so the above figures might not be 100% correct.
