The unit powers up and is in good working order but has not been tested under a vacuum.
It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use.

This Don Whitley Scientific miniMACS Anaerobic Workstation was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit has been looked at by a qualified service engineer.
The pump works from the main socket but not from the instrument socket. They cleaned the filter which was previously making the pump run loudly. They repaired the fans which were previously broken.
They have tested the cabinet with a vacuum pump and it seems it is holding the vacuum. Although one piece of plexiglass holding the right door lock is broken. The system holds a vacuum despite this.
The temperature was tested up to 37˚c, it took about an hour to reach this.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use and the aforementioned crack.

This Don Whitley VA500 Hypoxia Workstation Glove Box was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The lab were unable to confirm the working status as it has not been used in some time, but did confirm that it requires a software upgrade.
The unit powers up and the incubator is in working order. It has not been tested under vacuum. The lights are functional on both units. Glove door locks both working. The left glove insert is damaged. Rubber has separated from the ring.
Both units are in good cosmetic condition. The back of Airlock does have some cracking on the external casing due to UV exposure. The unit was situated by a window at the university which caused this.
Included with the system are;
1 x User manual folder for both units.
1 x "MACS Footswitch". it is in good cosmetic condition but we were unable to test it. It is wireless.
2x Gas regulators. Good condition, not tested.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with some minor marks from use. The airlock works on both glove doors and you can feel the airflow inside.
Internal dimensions - D55.5 W85 H50cm
We tested it with a digital thermometer (not included)
When the temperature reached 37˚c, the thermometer read 37.7˚c.
When the temperature reached 45˚c (max) the thermometer read 46˚c.

DW Scientific MACS-MG-1000 Anaerobic Workstation Laboratory Incubated Glovebox

This DW Scientific MACS-MG-1000 Anaerobic Workstation Laboratory Incubated Glovebox was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit has not been used in some years and will need a full service before it is used again. The gloves will also all need replacing.
All the parts of the unit are in very good condition. and they all powered on with no issues. It's in good working order. The door lock system on the glove ports all works correctly.
The heating function works and was tested with a digital thermometer
It was set to 37˚C, our thermometer measured 36.7˚C ad the display was showing 36.9˚C. The temperature did fluctuate slightly but was never above the set value.
The gas system was not tested.
The glove box's internal dimensions are 185cm(L) x 69cm (W) x 79cm (H).
The airlock unit's internal dimensions are 30cm (L) x 35cm (W) x 30cm (H).
The system is mounted on a substantial metal frame with wheels that stands at 94cm to platform height.
