Amnis ImageStream XMk II Imaging Cell Sorter / Counter Lab Luminex
ITEM-20844
This Amnis ImageStream XMk II is being sold on behalf of a university. It is surplus to requirements. It is currently still in their facility. The system originally cost the university £250k.
We had a qualified service engineer take a look at his one. They deemed it to be in full working order but the 405 and 488nm lasers were below the limit. They were unable to carry out further testing on these lasers due to the restrictions on laser operation at our site.
They ran the heavy check-up calibration of the system which took most of the day. They shut it down to clean and sterilise it before they had to leave.
They did a final re-test of the system and did the sample test and no errors appeared on the system. The issue of the two lasers will need further investigations but they informed us that this will not stop the system from being sold as a working system.
The list of lasers are, 405, 488, 561, 594, 658, 785, and 830 nm.
Prior to coming to us for testing, it was last used in March 2020.
The unit is supplied with a computer and software.
It is in good cosmetic condition with light usage marks.

Silicon Biosystems DEPArray Cell Imaging Sorter Lab Spares/Repairs
ITEM-36677
This Silicon Biosystems DEPArray Cell Imaging Sorter was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The lab provided the following information about the equipment.
The DEPArray V2, is no longer functional and is unsupported by the manufacturer. They believe it may still have some use as a spares unit.
It required proprietary chips where the cells are actually sorted, but these are no longer manufactured and the last dated batch expired around two years ago. It is no longer able to run and has no parts that can be reused by the manufacturer. Some parts may be missing, aged, etc as the system did not run for a couple of years.
The required peripherals have been removed.
The system is also password locked.
It is in good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use.
