Olympus BX51WIF Fluorescence Microscope System w/ Newport Optics Table Lab

This Olympus BX51 WIF Fluorescence Microscope System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The System unfortunately is largely untested as the lab was unable to part with the PC and software. They implied that it was in working order prior to having the PC removed as it was just surplus to requirements, but there are some parts missing.

Overall it is in good cosmetic condition but has general marks from use.

Olympus IX50/Arcturus LCM2106 PixCell 2E Microdissection Microscope System

This Olympus IX50/Arcturus LCM2106 PixCell 2E Microdissection Microscope System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

All parts are in good used cosmetic condition but they do have signs of general use. We have powered it all up and the system appears to function as it should. We were able to view a slide via the software on the PC.

It is an excellent system and is in full working order. It has been professionally serviced. The comments from the service engineer are below.

It appears to be in good working condition but we have no way of checking the laser. The internal halogen works fine and so does the external metal halide illumination. Objectives UPlanFl 4x/0.13 ∞/- UPlanFl 10x/0.30 ∞/- LCPlanFl 20x/0.4 ∞/- LCPlanFl 40x/0.60 ∞/- Diagnostic Inst 1x C Mount adaptor. Some evidence of bleaching of fluorescence filters.

With PixCell IIE LCM2016 Laser System (Manufactured September 2002).

Nikon Eclipse 90i Fluorescence Microscope System Lab

This Nikon Eclipse 90i Fluorescence Microscope System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit has been professionally serviced. The microscope's manual functionality is in good working condition and has been tested with the PC.

The system is in good used cosmetic condition. It has been tested with one of our slides and appears to work as it should though the geared teeth in the condenser adjuster appear to be broken. You cannot adjust the height of the condenser with the adjusters. It has to be done manually, though it is still perfectly usable.

The system has been fully connected to a PC with the included Nikon software installed. We have set up and viewed one of our slides via the PC monitor.

A 3.5" 500GB HDD with the Nikon software and a fresh install of Windows XP is included with the sale.

This Olympus BX40F-3 Microscope was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in reasonable used cosmetic condition but it does have various marks, scratches and signs of general use. The lamp adjustment slider is snapped off but it can still be operated if you put something thin in the hole(ie small flat screwdriver). Please let us know if this is a major problem for you - we may be able to complete a repair or source a replacement.

The microscope has been tested using one of our slides and it appears to work well with all fitted objectives.
