This Olympus BX51 WIF Fluorescence Microscope System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The System unfortunately is largely untested as the lab was unable to part with the PC and software. They implied that it was in working order prior to having the PC removed as it was just surplus to requirements, but there are some parts missing.

Overall it is in good cosmetic condition but has general marks from use.

The unit powers up but has not been tested as we do not have the objectives. It has received a full clean of all optical components and the realignment of the light path was completed. All mechanical parts were fully lubricated and reassembled.

Missing focus spindle (confocal removed.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers on and is in working order. The focus knob is quite stiff but the fine adjustment works as intended.
