This item was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The cabinet powers on and is in reasonable cosmetic condition. Upon powering up, the cabinet initiates a 5-minute Mini Purge, after which the electronic door can be opened. However, the system displays a 'Filter Fault' status after startup, indicating a missing filter.

Therefore, further testing could not be conducted.

There is no filter fitted, the unit should work fine with one in.

The Air Science Edu-Mobile EDU-M-48 is a mobile ductless fume cupboard designed to provide flexible containment for laboratory, research, educational and demonstration environments where fixed ducting may not be available or required.

Each unit is fitted with a spillage tray, sink, cold water tap, gas tap and bottle trap.

The client has advised that the units have never been used and should be fully functional.

There is no service history available, as the items have never been used.

The client has advised they are able to package the equipment for transport if required.
