These items were removed from a university lab, where they were surplus to requirement.
The knife blades are all in very good condition, with sharp and undamaged cutting edges, appearing to have been well maintained, except for the hand knife, which has a poor cutting edge.
The wooden boxes are in excellent condition, except for two that are damaged.
The lot comprises:
- 3 x Shandon Nothung C wedge shape 20cm blades (circa 1967) in box
- 1 x Shandon Northung A concave 25cm blade (circa 1967) in box
- 1 x Unidentified C wedge 18cm blade in box
- 3 x MSE Ltd No. 9057.W wedge 9cm blades in box
- 2 x Cambridge Instruments rocking microtome knives (10cm blades) in box
- 1 x Unidentified wedge 8cm blade in leather case
