The item powers on and is in good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.

The temperature was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

Paraffin tank - Set to 70˚c - Thermometer read 62˚c

Mold Warmer - Set to 70˚c - Was heating up but extremely slow, read 20˚c

Cassette Bath- Set to 70˚c - Thermometer read 54˚c

Work Area- Set to 70˚c - Thermometer read 25˚c also heating up really slow

Cold plate- Set to -5˚c - Thermometer read 0˚c

We assume the areas that heated up less are supposed to by design.

There are some tape marks on the unit from general use the battery compartment had signs of corrosion but we have cleaned this up, but some signs remain. It doesn't affect the operation of the unit.

All dials and buttons appear to be responsive to the unit and move freely.

The Microtome, controller and lamp controller powered on and the Microtome's light was functional. The controller responded to dial inputs. It was not tested further.
