It was then temperature tested with a digital thermometer (not included)

37ºC our thermometer showed 34ºC.

4ºC our thermometer showed 1.0ºC.

-9ºC(min) our thermometer showed -5.0ºC.

We would suggest that it was the probe placement that caused the temp readings to be a bit inaccurate.

The unit is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has been previously used. The start button is damaged but still works.

The unit powers on and has been tested. It spins up to 4100rpm, but the rotor is rated at 4300rpm. When set to its lowest which is -10 degrees it got down as low as -12. When set to its max which is 40 degrees it displayed 39 and was at 37.

The Rotor number displayed T515.

The Buckets Serial number is 0306/01.

The buckets Cat Number is 11210335.

The number on the bottom of the buckets is Ch. 007027 S.303.

The bucket adaptors inside the buckets were numbered ALC R2035 & the Cat Number is 11172435.

The ALC 2035 Adapter is for 50ml tubes.

The unit powers up and was tested with a Beckman 70.1 Ti rotor from another item (Not included), but would not reach over 3000rpm (Rotor max is 10000). We suspect there is a vacuum issue as the vacuum light flashed red during testing. The system also will not cool down.

It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition.

It is sold for spares/repairs.

This Carl Padberg Zentrifugenbau LE was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The cosmetic condition of this item is fairly good and it has powered on.

We set the unit to 20,000rpm. It does ramp up quite slowly to speed. It reached 21,000+ and started to hold speed.

We're not sure how accurate the speed adjustment is. It didn't seem to fully hold at 20,000rpm, it kept slowly rising. The belt looks like it needs replacing too.

For this reason, It is sold for spare/repairs

The speed range is from 15000 to 40000 rpm.
