Description
This Gelaire Model TC48 Laminar Flow Hood/Cabinet was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit is in good, used condition but it does have various scrapes/scratches and tape/sticker residue.
It powers up and the main light and fans appear to work as they should. The UV lamp will require a plug fitted to work. The bulb for this has not been tested at all.
It comes with test paperwork from 2014-2019 but it failed the test in 2020. The paperwork states 'filters fail DOP/fan vibrating'.
The internal dimensions are:
118cm L x 52cm D x 69cm H.
The depth is more, but the UV light cage takes up part of this.
Please note this is a laminar flow hood - it is not a biological safety cabinet.
