Description
This QIAGEN Rotor-Gene Q Real-Time PCR System was removed from a university lab during a clearout.
Reportedly, the lab suffered a fire, and powder was used to put out the fire. The instrument was affected by the powder. Reportedly the lab tried to clean the instrument inside / out but it still did not power up.
At our side the unit didn't power up in testing and it smells of burned electrics inside.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but the rear coms socket is rusting.
It is sold for spares or repairs.
