Description
This Shimadzu GC Gas Chromatograph Model - GC-8A was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and the fan and oven run. We tried to test the oven with a digital thermometer (not included). We set it to 37, 100, 200 and 300 but the temperature shoots up and then begins to drop. Around 150C it smelled like burning so it wasn't tested higher than that.
The unit was not tested further.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but the fine dial for col temp has been snapped off.
