Description
Heraeus BioFuge Fresco Centrifuge Refrigerated with Rotor and Lid - originated in a working Lab in a top UK University and came to us as part of a Lab clear out.
The unit runs fine up to a maximum of 13,000rpm however the refrigeration did not appear to work.
The unit was set to 0 and the temperature actually increased during it's runtime although when we stopped the unit and opened the lid it was clear that the temperature had actually dropped. The on screen display showed 11 but our thermometer showed approx -3.8. So there appears to be a fault with the display or internal thermometer.
Otherwise it seems to be a good working unit.
