Description
IEC Micromax Bench-Top Centrifuge.
This item was removed from a lab during a clear out.
The unit runs fine up to 6500rpm.
It starts 'whistling' worse as the rpm goes up.
The pitch gets higher as the rpm goes up.
It will run up to 15,000rpm.
The 'whistle' is quite ear piercing as it goes up.
It's not so high pitched at Max.
It runs totally silent up to 15,000rpm with no rotor fitted.
Unit probably requires some servicing to eliminate the noise.
Unit is in good cosmetic condition.
Does have a small amount of pitting inside the metal drum.
Please note - this is not the refrigerated model.
Comes with IEC rotor fitted.
