Description
This Thermo Scientific Heraeus Fresco 17 Benchtop Laboratory Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. We have carried out some refurbishment on this unit to ensure it performs optimally.
The unit powers up and has been tested. We used a rotor from another unit to test this centrifuge but the rotor is NOT included.
The digital LCD screen on this centrifuge is a little dull and so some of the numbers are not displayed as prominently as others.
We have fitted it with a new motor.
The unit has been tested at 300, 5000, 10000 and 13000 rpm and runs smoothly.
The temperature settings were tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
With the temp set at -9ºC our thermometer read -9ºC
With the temp set at 3ºC our thermometer read 2.3ºC
With the temp set at 37ºC our thermometer read 29.4ºC
With the temp set at 40ºC our thermometer read 31.1ºC
It is in good cosmetic condition but has some minor marks from use.
