Description
This Beckman Centrifuge came out of lab as surplus to requirements.
We tested it without any rotor fitted and it appeared to run smoothly up to 3000rpm. However we did not test it with a rotor (no rotor included).
When closed the lid seems to seal tight and lid mechanism is working well.
Refrigeration clearly runs, but we put in our temp probe and it reached -24 when dial was only reading -1. So the compressor might be overcooling, or it might just be the position we inserted the probe versus where the units built in thermostat is located.
