This GC-MS Thermo Scientific Trace GC Ultra / DSQ II / Triplus AS was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The system has some faults and is sold for spares/repairs.

Item successfully pairs with AutoSampler which preforms a self calibration when powered on, displaying motor in good working order.

When the oven started to heat up smoke started rising from the top of the unit.

We took the top panel off and found that the Parker Vac-1250 psig Pulse Valve had burnt causing the smoke.
