BD LSR II Flow Cytometer 5 Laser 18 Channel System Lab
This is being sold on behalf of a client. It is surplus to requirements due to the laboratory transitioning to spectral cytometry equipment.
The BD LSR II Flow Cytometer is configured with five lasers and 18 independent fluorescent channels, offering a versatile platform for multiparameter flow cytometry applications. The system includes UV, Violet, Blue, Yellow-Green, and Red laser lines and is supplied with a High-Throughput Sampler, two large fluidics carts, and BD FACSDiva v8 software.
The instrument is currently operational with four functioning lasers. The Red laser is non-functioning and would require repair or replacement. A new 60 mW UV laser was installed on 15 October 2025, with the system subsequently realigned by an engineer on 9 December 2025. Recent CST documentation is also available.

If the Cytometer purchased has a Class 3 or above laser fitted, a disclaimer will need to be signed confirming understanding that the device is a class 3 or above laser device which can pose significant risks to skin, eyes, general health and can even act as a fire hazard.
The buyer will need to accept and indemnify all liability and responsibility for the Laser Device and parts thereof from the seller for any future use.
