1958 Commer Karrier Gamecock Fire Engine Food Truck Conversion

We are selling this vehicle on behalf of a client. It is surplus to requirements.

The vehicle is a non-runner and has been parked up for the last 18 months. It has been converted into a Food Truck and is installed with a pizza oven and other catering equipment.

Details on the issues are listed below;

1. Issue: A valve failure has occurred due to a gas conversion that was done on this truck. The gas conversion was not in use but remained connected to the combustion chamber, leading to the valve failure.

1. Actions if Required: Repair of the valve train and removal of gas conversion, these vehicles were not made for such conversions. It would require a new head gasket and accessories to go along with the head removal and replace affected valves without a full inspection to the engine I think that the minimal requirement to have a running truck again. These kind of repairs can only be carried out by a specialist.
