Description
Astell Autoclave Model: AMA260BT
This item was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers on and shows a cycle count of 1340. It has been reset to factory settings due to a dead battery.
Service checks have been carried out, including verification of LWP, door safety systems, and the safety valve at pressure.
However, the following issues were identified:
- All door microswitches and solenoid require adjustment.
- The door handle requires replacement.
- The ASCO Freesteam kit and JUMO overheat protection require replacement.
- All programmes require setup and full testing.
- Two full runs were attempted but indicated possible pressure and door switch problems.
The system requires further workshop work and testing to achieve reliable operation.
Therefore, this item is listed as spares/repair.
