Description
Rodwell Ensign 125 Floor Standing Autoclave
This item was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.
Service and condition notes are as follows:
- Unit powered on and lid opened without issue.
- Evidence of the low water probe shorting onto the outside element, causing the machine to heat with low or no water.
- All three heating elements were tested and found to be open circuit.
- Three elements and the low water probe will need to be replaced.
- It is advised that the unit be delivered to a specialist workshop if repair is to be undertaken.
