Description
This Heraeus Biofuge Stratos was removed from a university lab where ti was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up but seems to be faulty. It cut out and stopped working when run up to 4800rpm. It was also set to incubate and refrigerated instead indicating an issue with the temperature controller.
Included with it are;
1 x Heraeus Instruments Rotor Model No. 3047. Rotor Speed 5600 RPM.
4 x Heraeus Buckets Model No. 8172. Dimensions: D 8.5cm x W 5.8cm. Max Weight 275g each.
4 x Brown Tube Holders, holding 3 Tubes each. Dimensions: D 6.5cm x W 1.8cm.
4 x Green/Yellow Tube Holders. Dimensions: Internal D 9.6cm x W 3.1cm. External D 8.5cm x W 5.8cm.
The unit is in good used condition, but the gas struts for the lid have failed.
