It is in fairly poor cosmetic condition and powers on, however, due to an issue with the cooling/heating element it did not reach any desired temperature when tested.

Therefore, it is listed as Spares/Repair.

Additionally, it was tested to its maximum speed of 4500RPM, which performed well with no issues.

This Du Pont Sorvall Benchtop Centrifuge Model - RT 6000D with H1000B 3600RPM Rotor was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The item powers on with rotor speed running smoothly up to 3600rpm.

The temperature was first set to 4˚c which it reached quickly. The temperature was then set to its minimum setting of -20˚c. After an hour of running, the display read -14˚c but the thermometer was reading -20˚c.

The item is in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition with marks from use.

Sorvall RT6000B Centrifuge w/3600 RPM Rotor - Sorvall H1000B Lab

This Sorvall RT 6000B Centrifuge w/3600 RPM Rotor - Sorvall H1000B was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers up and the rotor runs well up to 3600rpm.

The refrigeration was tested with a digital thermometer (not included).

We set the chamber temperature dial to 4°c and the thermometer dropped to 4.5°c.

We then set the temperature to the minimum of -20°c and it dropped quite quickly to -28°c.

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with some marks from use. the rotor has some rust on it

The unit is in good cosmetic condition but it has some light stains on the lid and side panels. The Interior and rotor are clean.

The rotor has 20 sample spaces, it accepts 2ml vials. It is rated at 14000rpm.

It powers up fine and has been tested at a few different speeds. The numbers don't necessarily match up with the RPM of the unit.

Set at 3, the centrifuge hit 5800 RPM.

Set to 9, the centrifuge hit 11500 RPM.

Set to max of 14000, the centrifuge hit 14200 RPM.

Heraeus Biofuge Pico Centrifuge with 3324 Rotor Lab

This Heraeus Biofuge Pico Centrifuge with 3324 Rotor was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit powers on and is in good cosmetic condition. There are some light tape marks from general use. The lid opens, the brake works and all buttons appear to be responsive. The LCD screen is working and displays clearly.

The unit was tested at the max speed of 13000rpm and ran smoothly.

The unit has the following rotor fitted;
