Sorvall RC-3B Plus Floor Standing Centrifuge - Spares/Repair Lab
This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirement.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has not been tested on site due to the service report attached stating;
Rotor lock: Seized, cannot remove rotor
No reported problems Service and check as above Unit is old
Note 6: door seal has shrunk and will not go back into place
Note 9: chamber is corroded due to substance.
Note 10: gas struts have failed, lid is heavy and can fall.
Note 12: drive shaft housing corroded.
Therefore, it is listed as Spares/Repair.
