Description
This Sorvall Refrigerated Laboratory Centrifuge RC-5B Plus was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and is in working order.
We tested it at:
5,000rpm
10,000rpm
20,000rpm (rotor max)
The display showed slightly under each speed but this might just need calibrating.
The temperature has also been tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
At -20ºC our thermometer showed -26.9ºC.
There is a rotor with it;
1x Sorvall SS-34
20 500 rpm MAX
Autoclavable 121˚C
