This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit is in good cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.
We had this inspected by a qualified service engineer. There is a blockage in the pipe leading to the gauge, so it is not measuring the real pressure. They have tested the gauge and the controller, and they both working fine. The system holds a vacuum but no change in the gauge controller needle due to the blockage.
The temperature drops to -60C within 15-20 minutes short time.
The mains switch is stuck on (On) and has to be switched off from the mains.
