Description
Edwards Classic Freeze Drier
This item was removed from a facility where it was declared surplus to requirements.
The unit is in good cosmetic condition, however, it failed PAT testing due to a loose power switch which can be pulled out from its housing.
The previous owner also advised that while the chamber holds vacuum, the system barely registers on the Pirani gauge and does not achieve the expected vacuum level (e.g. 10⁻² mbar). This may indicate a potential internal air leak.
Due to these issues, the unit has not been tested further at our facility.
