Description
This PEAK Scientific Genius NM32LA Nitrogen Generator was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has had a health check carried out on it, but unfortunately the engineer reported the following.
On arrival the generator was found to be in very good serviceable condition with signs that indicate low hours for its age. It maintains pressure and flow comfortably reflecting low hours since the last compressor service.
Unfortunately, the gas quality analysis found the O2 content was much higher than OEM specification and it was recommended it not be used until a repair has been completed. Further diagnosis demonstrated the larger of the 2 membranes to be the main fault, though the smaller has also degraded.
It is sold for spares/repairs.
