Description
This Thermo Electron Corporation Shandon Histocentre 3 Embedding Module & Cold Plate was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

Embedding Module

Cold Plate Unit
Model - B64100011
Both units power on and are in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition, the units are quite discoloured.
They were tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
The Embedding Module Temperatures:-
The Tissue Storage Tank heats to 70°c, the thermometer read 67°c
The Paraffin Tank heats to 70°c, the thermometer read 65.3°c
The Hot Spot heats to 70°c, the thermometer read 62°c
The Mold Storage Oven heats to 70°c, the thermometer read 57°c
The Cold Plate cooled down to a temperature of -9°c
