Leica EG1150H Paraffin Embedder Lab

This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirement.

It is in good cosmetic condition and powers on, however we are unable to test it further at our facility.

There is a substantial amount of paraffin wax still solidified in the trays which cannot be removed.

The previous owner stated it was in working order prior to removal.

LEICA EM-AFS Low Temperature Embedding System

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The system powers on and is in good cosmetic condition with no visible signs of damage. The LCD screen and buttons are operational on the main unit. All parts are securely mounted to a dewar measuring approximately 46 x 46 x 60 cm (excluding wheels).

We are unable to test the system further at our facility.

The system comprises the following:

• Leica EM-AFS Embedding System (Type: 702701, Serial No.: 518928) – Powers on, LCD screen and controls responsive.
• Leica Control Unit (Type: 655601) – Powers on.
• Leica EMUV (Type: 702727) – Powers on, UV light activates when unit is placed face down into chamber. Activation is confirmed by an LED on the control unit; an audible alarm sounds if the EMUV is removed while active.
