Description
This Kuhner Floor Standing Laboratory Incubator Shaker Model - ISF-1-W was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
Internal Dims:
D64cm x W94cm x H50cm
(Height was measured from the shaker mech to the top of the chamber).
The unit powers on with the incubator and shaker appearing to be in working order There are scratch marks on the LHS of the unit and on the bottom shelf from general use. There are surface stains and marks inside the unit and outside of the unit, from general use. There is a large crack in the inspection perspex on top of the unit that travels right across the length of it. The Perspex is double-glazed and has only cracked the outside layer.
Set temp at 37ºC our thermometer read 38.8ºC
Set temp at 40ºC our thermometer read 40.9ºC
Set temp at 80ºC our thermometer read 76.4ºC
The temperature never reached 80ºC, the unit settled on our thermometer's temperature reading, as above.
The unit was also set to refrigerate at 4˚C and works well.
Shaking test:
• 20 min-1 (the unit ran smoothly)
• 180 min-1 (the unit ran smoothly)
•300 min-1 (the unit ran smoothly)
Included with it are;
30x small clamps with spring retainers.
