Description
This Gallenkamp Plus II Laboratory Incubator Cat No. IPL.075.FD1.C was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has marks and stains from use.
The unit powers on fine and the interior shaker works as intended however the higher it is set on the dial the slower it goes and vice versa. The shaker cannot be operated at temperatures higher than 60˚C.
The unit was tested with a digital thermometer (not included)
When set to 37˚C the display showed 35.6˚C and the thermometer 37.3˚C.
When set to 60˚C the display showed 56.8˚C and the thermometer 58.7˚C.
We then removed the shaker and the oven was set to 108˚C, which is the highest we could get it to go on the dial.
It reached 98.6 according to the display, while the thermometer measured 104.0˚C.
The shaker is a Gallenkamp Shaker Platform Cat no. IPL000.0S1.9.
