This refrigerator was previously used in a laboratory and is strictly sold for lab use only. It is not suitable for any domestic or commercial food preparation or storage activities due to the potential risk of laboratory contamination.
Refrigerators will be transported in a variety of methods, including palletised couriers or direct transport "point of use". It is possible the internal refrigerant may have shifted during transport.
Allowing the unit to remain upright for at least 24 hours lets the refrigerant settle properly, preventing potential damage to the cooling system. Please ensure you allow sufficient settling time after receiving your delivery. Please also ensure you place the unit in its desired place of use before powering on for the first time, this is to prevent further movement post-delivery.
We suggest the below time periods are reached before powering on:

Pharmaceutical Fridges: 8hrs
Freezers (≤ -20°C): 24hrs
Low Temperature (≤ -40°C): 48hrs
