Description
This GS Laboratory Equipment LIC-10140W15 Ultra Low Laboratory Chest Freezer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The lab reported that they no longer used it as it did not cool past -140C.
At our site, we tested it to 80C, which it did comfortably. We tested it to -140C, and the temperature readout only reached -134C.
Our temperature recordings were a little lower with our thermometer - 69C when unit was showing -80, and -111 on ours when unit was showing -134C. But this variation could easily be due to heat loss in opening the door to place the probe in or probe positioning.
The keys for the lid lock and power switch are present.
The internal dimensions are 89cm (L)x 47cm(B)x 68cm (H) .
The unit is in good overall condition with some marking to the lids. The lid seal is in good condition
with no damage.
The power supply required for this is 415V 3 phase. No plug is supplied with the unit (though can be supplied on request).
