Description
Thermo Scientific Neslab ThermoFlex 900 Recirculating Chiller Lab
This item was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit was powered on and the temperature was set to 5°C. It ran for several minutes before displaying the service messages "SER 2" and "SER 6".
After approximately 10 minutes of operation, the unit displayed an "HPC" error message and automatically shut down.
Error and Service Message Details:
- SER 2: Pump preventive maintenance required after 10,000 operating hours.
- SER 6: Fan motor preventive maintenance required after 20,000 operating hours.
- HPC: High Pressure Cutout – the unit has detected a high-pressure condition and shut down as a protective measure.
Please note: The unit powers on and operates initially but shuts down after approximately 10 minutes due to the HPC fault. The cause of this fault has not been diagnosed, and the unit will require further inspection, servicing or repair before normal operation can be confirmed.
The unit is being sold as faulty, for spares or repair.
