Retsch Mill/Grinder Centrifugal Mill Model: ZM1

Retsch ZM1 Centrifugal Mill / Laboratory Grinder w/ 24-Tooth Rotor & 2.0mm Sieve

This item was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is fitted with a 24-tooth rotor and a 2.0 mm particle ring sieve.

The lid is fitted with a safety switch which cuts power to the motor when the lid is loosened. This safety function was tested and found to be working correctly.

The unit has two operating settings, selected using the front switch marked “1” and “2”. Both settings operate successfully, with a noticeable change in motor speed and corresponding movement on the front amperes gauge.

The mill was left running with no load for approximately 20 minutes and showed no issues during testing.

The timer function is also working correctly and switches the motor off when the timer reaches zero.
