IPX5 / IPX6 Strong Water Spray Test Chamber, 1400L

This system is being offered for sale on behalf of a client due to being surplus to ongoing requirements at The National Robotarium, Edinburgh.

The unit is an IPX5 / IPX6 strong water spray test chamber with a 1400L test volume, designed for ingress protection testing using strong water jets in line with IP waterproof test procedures. Systems of this type are used for product and component validation across electronics, automotive, industrial and R&D environments where repeatable water spray exposure testing is required.

According to the client, the chamber is in very good used condition and close to new in appearance and working order. It was rarely used between 2022 and 2026, with fewer than 20 recorded uses, and no issues or faults logged during ownership. The client has advised that the unit has not been recalibrated since original purchase, however no loss of calibration has been identified. Routine internal maintenance, including replacement of water and cleaning of the water container, has been carried out in line with the user manual. No external maintenance record is available.

Native onboard software supplied with the chamber is included. Videos of the system in operation are available on request.
